Busted out the sewing machine

After I removed the three-inch layer of dust from my sewing machine and gave myself a little Sewing 101 review, I attempted to make this.

I brought my sewing machine home from my parent’s house a few months ago and I keep hoping to start sewing again but I’ve had trouble getting started. Well, this tutorial seemed to make it super easy so I took a stab at it.

I bought some other material at the same time that I like better but I decided to do this one first just in case I really messed up.

I’m hoping to make a few of them and have the monogrammed for birthday gifts!
