Okay, so now you probably have a lot of scraps left over if you made these scarves that I showed last week.  So now, an idea for those scraps!

headbands!!

so you can use a single band.

or, a double band:

lesson learned:  be sure you don't braid too tightly or it will started to bend [as you can see on my front band].

All you have to do is braid your scraps together and sew the ends.  Then, take a piece of elastic band about 6" long and sew it to both ends.  If this doesn't make sense, check out this tutorial.
